Iran Air Adds Manchester As Their Second Go-To Destination In The UK For Summer 2020
Iran Air, the national flag carrier of Iran, has added Manchester to its flight routes for summer 2020. Manchester is the second destination Iran Air will operate to the United Kingdom, and the flights are initially planned for three months starting from 04th of July 2020.

Iran Air Manchester flights will be offered once-weekly on Saturdays. The airline also offers three times a week flights to London, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Iran Air London flight schedule has changed recently and most days flights are early morning from Tehran to London and around noon from London to Tehran.

The flight features a decent service, including inflight meals and 40Kg complementary hold luggage on economy class and 50 Kg on business class, excluding hand luggage. Manchester airport connects more than 27 million travelers every year to hundreds of cities around the globe, providing a well-connected network for businesses.

Manchester city lies within the United Kingdom’s second most populated urban area. The city itself has a population of more than 550,000, making it the fifth most populated city in the UK. Manchester is one of the most important cities in northern England with a history dating back to the first century AD and began to expand astonishingly in the 19th century and is currently one of the UK’s fastest-growing cities. Since 2019, Manchester has been the second most visited city in the UK after London. Being home to many world-class universities and schools, the city holds a prestigious academic position both within the UK and globally, currently hosting more than 100,000 students across five universities.

Since the industrial revolution, Manchester has always remained an important industrial hub and a leading business destination in the UK and Europe, and it is one of the UK’s most successful cities in attracting direct foreign investment. According to the Data City 2020 report, Manchester’s performance exceeds all UK major cities in many fields, including construction technology, cyber, e-commerce, AI, medical technology, and advanced materials.

The Greater Manchester area hosts a large Iranian community and will serve as an important hub for Iran Air. It can also support a large number of passengers living in cities close to Manchester, who previously either had to take a connecting flight to Tehran or had to go through the hassle of travelling to London to catch a direct flight from London to Tehran.

Tehran, the capital city of Iran, is among the largest metropolitan cities globally with a population of more than 9.1 million, making it the most populous city in western Asia. Some historians know Iran as the country with the most extended history and the Persian empire as the first empire. The country has remained one of the most unexplored countries for international tourists during the past few decades.

Ironically, Iran has endless attractions to offer from vast landscapes, countless historical monuments, and amazing beaches to traditional bazaars; there is always something for every taste. Iran has a diverse climate, while you can ski in the northwest of the country with a temperature of -20 °C you can swim in the sea in the south with temperatures as high as +30 °C. The country is also extremely cheap with a taxi ride costing roughly below £2 and a meal £2.5-£4. A meal in a high-end luxury restaurant would be around £25-£40.

If you are planning to book a flight from Manchester to Tehran with Iran Air, the only option you have is to call a travel agency, check prices, and book your ticket over the phone since online booking is not available for Iran Air flights at the moment.
