Getting to know the young CEO and Digital Social Growth, a company that brings Silicon Valley style branding to companies around the world

Digital Social Growth is an international social enterprise helping people harness the power of strategy consulting and AI to advance their media and public relation strategy.  After coming to the market, it exploded in popularity and has been growing ever since.

Central to Digital Social Growth is Weiyi Dai, the young CEO & Co-Founder, who is also a mentor for university students and start-ups. While most people her age are still trying to figure out their career path, Weiyi has already made an impact on the world stage, a result made from sheer effort, dedication and a diversified educational background rich in accomplishment.

After graduating from a top Asian university, she went to the United States to obtain a master’s degree in public administration from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the best schools in the world.  There, she received a merit-based scholarship to attend, and  numerous academic accolades.

Due to her excellent performance, she was offered the chance to work at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, eventually participating in the annual UN conference as a representative spokesperson. Dai points to this experience as the starting point for her career in media and journalism.

Utilizing her education and experience, Dai began working in Silicon Valley, specializing in market and public relations strategy research.  Surrounded by tech executives and entrepreneurs, Dai’s own leadership skills developed by leaps and bounds.  This growth led to the idea of creating better ways for people to dig out and show their specific advantages. Dai seized the opportunity to build from her education and practical experience to enable people across the world to gain the insight in how to run their media and PR campaigns uniquely.

When asked about the difficulties, Dai acknowledges the role transformation has been her biggest challenge, “When working in big platforms, one only need to focus on his/her own tasks, but after starting your own organization, you need to have a broad perspective and be able to make decisions and adjust them quickly.”  Dai also espouses the importance of communication and open-mindedness within every aspect of work. Besides her innate elegance and charm, she has an inherent ability to cooperate with others, welcomes outside help and actively seeks out other’s expertise.

Looking back, Dai said that she feels her most important credentials are not limited to the workplace. Beginning in her teenage, Dai has a strong sense of social responsibility and created volunteer initiatives to bring the kindness and abilities of her peers to those that need it most. As the head of her branch of social workers in university, she traveled as far as Ukraine to serve as an international volunteer spreading a message of cross-cultural understanding and social awareness.

In her spare time, Dai also plays piano and badminton, takes singing lessons, and even founded a book club. Yet, fitting her eclectic background, it is no surprise that she’s also made long road trips across the United States and continental Europe and even trekked the Asian Silk Road.

In the future, we expect great things from this young leader as she strives to combine her experiences and bring her vision to the world.
